A personal message from Pastor Tim Duncan
On behalf of the whole family at Sedge Garden Baptist Church, I want to welcome you to our online community. We are a group of committed followers of Jesus Christ who have joined together for the purpose of worshipping God, learning more about Him, enjoying each other and serving others.
We believe that people really matter to God. Church isn’t about buildings and programs as much as it is about people like you. Tim Duncan
Pastor Duncan is originally from Granite Falls, N.C. where He was saved at the age of 11 at the Clover Baptist Church. After High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a pharmacy technician. God called him to preach in 1979 and he graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Religious Education, concentrating on Pastoral Studies. He has served three churches since 1984 and has been our pastor for 13 years. He lives in Winston Salem with his wife of 30 years. Pastor Tim and Sonya have three children.
